Lake Como and Surrounds

After arrival and transfer to our Base for the next few days we will enjoy a leisurely afternoon ride to test our equipment, loosen our legs and fight off some jet-leg! 

Over the next couple of days we will explore Lake Como and surrounds, including a visit to Switzerland. We will challenge ourselves on some famous climbs with breathtaking views of the Lakes. Highlights:

Bormio, Italian Alps

Leaving the Lakeside beauty of Como behind us, we transfer to our next base, Bormio in the Italian Alps.

Here you will discover your climbing legs as every road goes up!

Your gearing will play an important role in how much fun you have getting to the top of these climbs.

Bormio offers great restaurants for well deserved Italian food and a beer to recover every night.

Dolomites

We will travel through stunning country side to our next stop, The Italian Dolomites. You will forget your tired legs quickly when we arrive in this visually spectacular area.  

We will do the famous Maratona Dles Dolomites route over

2 days. To cycle in the Dolomites is really a challenge as you want to stop around every bend in the road to take in the scenery!

  • Passo Giau (Hardest of them all!!)
